Happy November! We are so grateful for our GCES families and all you do for our school and community!

We wanted to share with you that we are having our annual Turkey Trot on Tuesday, 11/15! Students will be participating during their related arts time. They will be trying to complete as many laps of our turkey track (in about 30 minutes) as possible in order to earn points for their class. 

We are also collecting canned goods/non-perishables for The Howard County Food Bank. Students will bring these items (no glass please!) into their classroom beginning 11/3. We will be collecting until the Turkey Trot (and possibly after). The class with the highest combined total of laps, and canned goods/non-perishables will win a special prize!
