Students in Grades 3, 4, and 5 will take the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC). PARCC assessments will measure students’ content knowledge, critical thinking, and problem solving skills in reading and mathematics.

            Specific testing dates for each grade level are below. These dates are subject to change based on inclement weather. To prepare for the assessments, parents and guardians can ensure that students get plenty of sleep the night before and have a healthy breakfast the morning of the assessment. All of the academic preparation for PARCC will occur during the school day. If students arrive and the assessment has already started, they will not be allowed to join the session and will wait in the front office until the session has ended. Please keep this in mind when scheduling appointments for your children.

            Grade 3:  Reading – May 17th

                           Math – May 15th, May 16th, May 17th and May 30th

            Grade 4:

                           Math –  May 11th, May 12th and May 25th

            Grade 5:  Reading –  May 9th

                           Math – May 10th, May 22nd, May 24th and May 31st
