Family File updates..

HCPSS utilizes Family File for parents/guardians to complete emergency information. Parents/guardians must verify and/or update information for each child, and can do so by logging in to HCPSS Connect and selecting the Family File tab and then clicking on Family File.

Once logged in, parents/guardians will be asked to update or provide the following information:

  • Student Information
  • Parent/Guardian Contact
  • Emergency Contacts
  • Medical Information
  • Arrival/Dismissal Procedures
  • Media Release (Photo Approval)
  • Data Confidentiality
  • PTA/PTSA Directory

Changes of address may not be made through Family File. If you have recently moved, please contact your child’s school as soon as possible.

Resources on how to access Family File may be found online. Parents who have forgotten their login credentials may click the Forgot Password link on the sign in page. If you need additional assistance, please fill out this Connect Help Form.

How can I find out my child's homeroom teacher?

This year you will be able to access all pertinent information regarding your child using your Connect account.  This is where you will go to see your CHILD’S HOMEROOM TEACHER.  Simply login to and click on HCPSS CONNECT LOGIN to access your account.  You will be required to complete an emergency card for each child BEFORE A HOMEROOM TEACHER will be accessible prior to Open House at the end of August.

We will NOT be sending out postcards with teacher names.

All children need an updated emergency card before the first day of school!
